Week 10 Monday 10/19 - Electrons in Atoms ASSESSMENT: Chapter 5 quiz Homework: READ pages 160-161 in your textbook. Then Read the handout "Density and the Periodic Table". In your lab journal, write the guiding question. Then answer each of the bullets, (questions) under the "Getting Started" section of the Investigation. Be prepared to share with your group/class tomorrow. (Be sure to research the actual densities of Fleurovium and Germanium and note in your Lab Journal. Cite your source for this information as you would in your English Class).
Tuesday 10/20 - Density and the Periodic Table In your groups, discuss ways to conduct the lab and determine which course of action you will take. Each student then needs to outline in their journal the general procedure decided upon by the group. Also, make a data table in your journal to record your data. Once each member of your group has completed their data table, testing may begin. Homework: Complete #81 on pg 155. Answer the questions on the back of the graph.
